INNI is an independent music company based in Iceland, that represents a diverse roster of producers, composers, and songwriters including Sin Fang, SKÚLI SVERRISSON, Kári Einarsson, Skúli Sverrisson, aYia, and more

Formed by Atli Örvarsson and Colm O’Herlihy in 2019, INNI represents some of the world’s finest composers and writers. Primarily a publishing company, INNI also works as an independent record label and music production house.

ATLI ORVARSSON - Founder

Raised in the small town of Akureyri in the north of Iceland, Atli Örvarsson relocated to Los Angeles early on to pursue a career in composition. There, Atli worked extensively alongside prolific TV veteran Mike Post and Hollywood legend Hans Zimmer, which launched his career leading him to score over 40 films and countless TV shows.

In 2014, Atli felt a calling to move back to Iceland. Soon after, he started building up a studio complex in Akureyri and began his collaboration with the ‘Sinfonia Nord’ Orchestra, which has performed on many world-renowned films and productions. Here, he began work on his debut solo album 'You Are Here' which was released on INNI in July 2020

COLM O’HERLIHY - Founder

Colm O'Herlihy is co-founder of I N N I. He got his start in music when Smiths’ front-man Morrissey signed his band to his own signature label Attack Records. Since then, Colm has toured the globe as a guitarist for artists such as Joan Shelley, Grant Hart (Hüsker Dü), and many more. In 2014, he moved to Reykjavik and managed two labels, Bedroom Community & Mengi Records. There he saw a niche for a specialized music publishing company in the heart of the music scene of Iceland, in 2019 he launched the company with film composer Atli Örvarsson.

Björk Hrafnsdóttir - Studio Manager

Björk Hrafnsdóttir is from Reykjavík and is currently finishing a MA degree in Curatorial Practice at IUA where she focuses on collaborative projects between artists and curators as well as curatorial activism. As an art professional she has worked on various projects locally and internationally. From 2018 to 2020 she worked for the Irish musician Damien Rice but most recently she has been working as an independent curator. She enjoys working closely with both artist and musicians on achieving their artistic vision.

usic Supervisor & Consultant

As a music supervisor and consultant, Amine Ramer has influenced the sound and mood of feature films, documentaries and award-winning television series for nearly a decade. Ramer's success can be attributed to her careful selection of significant artists, ranging from the unknown to the popular, and her keen sensibility to create a visceral experience by connecting sight with sound. A native of Auckland, New Zealand, Ramer credits her career path to her upbringing in an environment that encouraged the development of individuality and seeking out the new rather than following trends. Based in Venice, CA, Amine brings a wealth of experience and talent to the INNI team.

JONATHAN PEARSON - Label Manager

Jonathan Pearson is an arts professional based between Ireland and Iceland. He has worked with some of Europe’s biggest arts organisations, festivals and projects over recent years. He has toured throughout the UK, Europe and the US on numerous occasions with different acts, and has worked on some of the most ambitious music projects in Ireland over the past few years.

Jonathan is the Producer of New Music Dublin, Ireland’s contemporary music festival run by The National Concert Hall, The Arts Council of Ireland and the national broadcaster RTÉ.

Alexandre Souêtre, originally from Paris, is a creative director & visual artist based between Portland & Reykjavik.

Willie RYAN- Music lawyer

Willie Ryan is a music lawyer and qualified Irish barrister who specialises in music and entertainment law. His clients include Hozier, Johnny McDaid, Noel Hogan/The Cranberries, and INNI. Primarily an artist lawyer he advises clients on all aspects of the music industry, including management contacts, producer agreements, recording and publishing deals. He is a co-founder of the Music Cork conference, producer of the Subterranean sessions television music series. Willie sits on the copyright law review committee at Kings Inns (Ireland) and is a guest speaker and lectures at various third level colleges and is a board member of AIM (Association of Independent Music) Ireland
